Ewuraba (Baaba) was born and raised in New York City with a family from Ghana, West Africa. She graduated from Binghamton University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development, minoring in Africana Studies. In 2021, she graduated with an accelerated Master of Science in Human Rights. Baaba is academically well-versed in humanities and social justice-related research. Her interests are African diasporic studies, sociology of knowledge, and sustainability, which she continues to explore through her work Stony Brook. Baaba is a higher education professional with multi-faceted experience in different realms of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. She is also passionate about inclusive and accessible education for all.
